Featuring a 350lb capacity hopper, a cast-iron oil-filled gearbox, and unique large flotation tyres, it is engineered to spread salt, seed, sand, and fertilizer even in slippery snow or on soft, delicate turf.
- Enhanced Traction Design: Unlike competitors with small wheels that skid, this unit features large chunky flotation tyres. These provide increased surface contact for better friction on ice and snow, ensuring the drive system operates consistently without "flat spotting" the tyres.
- Heavy-Duty Drivetrain: Built with a cast-iron, oil-filled gearbox for long-term durability. The gear axle can be easily disconnected when the unit is being towed but not in use, reducing unnecessary wear.
- Advanced Flow Control: Includes an adjustable flow rate lever and a removable internal agitator. The agitator is specifically designed to break up damp salt or clumpy fertilizer to ensure a smooth, jam-free application.
- Versatile Towing: Fitted with a standard 50mm ball hitch and a lockable towing hitch (lock sold separately), making it compatible with ATVs, UTVs, 4x4s, and tractors.
- Turf Protection: The wide flotation tyres offer lower ground pressure, allowing you to spread seeds or fertilizer on soft lawns or paddocks without leaving deep ruts or damaging the grass surface.
